The Meet of Champions at Davidson College is a high school track meet geared towards athletes wishing to extend their season beyond the state championships. An excellent opportunity to qualify for New Balance Nationals, Adidas Track Nationals and Nike Outdoor Nationals.

Individual Entry (one event): $25.00
Additional Individual Events (per): $25.00

Who Can Enter
The meet is open to any athlete who represented their high school or attended high school during the 2024-2025 school year. Home schoolers are welcome if they are of a grade allowed to represent a high school in their respective state. Junior high school athletes can compete if they represented a high school during the previous school year. A junior high mile will be contested for 6-8th graders (entry allowed regardless of whether the athlete represented a high school). Athletes from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virgina, Tennessee, and Georgia are welcome, but is up to each athlete to follow the rules for their respective associations to preserve their eligibility.
Events Contested
Running Events:
100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, Mile, Mile Racewalk, Junior High School Mile, 2000m Steeplechase, 3200m, 110mh, 100mh, and 400H.
Relay Events:
4 x 100m, 4 x 200m, 4 x 400m, 4 x 800m
Field Events:
High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin. Note the Discus & Javelin will be limited to the first 24 entrants. And athletes may not enter more than two of those three throws.
Facility
Davidson College’s Case Track & Field Complex features a 4,700 seat stadium and state of the art track facility in the heart of Davidson’s Campus. The track facility received a $2,000,000 upgrade in 2024 and features and all new track surface and grass infield. The facility features multi directional horizontal jump runways, a full D turn High Jump apron, and extended javelin runway, a hammer/disc cage and two shot sectors.

Located at 201 Faculty Drive Davidson NC 28036. Davidson is located on the shores of Lake Norman, just North of Charlotte right off 1-77 and easy 30 minute drive from both Downtown Charlotte and Charlotte Airport (CLT).
